Rune Jakobsen are a small, family run business based in the Danish countryside of East Himmerland and specialise in crafting a wide range of home furnishings and cookware including these classic knife racks made in oak or walnut and featuring impressively powerful magnets located along the length of the racks.
The "Colours" knife rack not only adds a splash of colour with its bright linoleum or cork finishes, the soft surface also helps protect your knives when they're on the rack.
Every rack that Rune Jakobsen produce is made to order in small batches and their motto of "Crafted - Not Produced!" fits beautifully with the ethos and Japanese knives that would adorn the your rack.
