Not sure if you noticed but we really love kitchen knives which is why we only sell knife racks that look after them.
Beautifully hand made with a level of skill we rarely see these days and using powerful rare earth magnets this rack keeps your knives firmly in place. The wooden surface is kind to your knife edges as it is softer than the knife so won't chip it.
This is a huge thanks, not only for the extremely prompt delivery but also for the most fabulous item in my new kitchen. The knife rack is so tactile, beautifully crafted and fully functional. I have certainly never seen such a mundane tool follow the 'solid, useful and beautiful' formula so well. Customer Review, March 2015
Typically a 12" (300mm) Magblok will hold 5 chef knives, the 18" (450mm) rack will hold 7-8 and the 22" 10-12 knives. All rack sizes are 50mm tall x 18mm deep.
Please note: All knife racks are sold untreated and include brass fittings and one stick of rack butter so you can finish your rack as you wish.
All measurements are provided as a guide, and due to the racks being made by hand, there can sometimes be minor variation in sizes.
Mag-Blok Spalted Maple
These spalted maple Mag-Bloks are stunning. Spalting is where the wood is left to partially decay before halting the process. This creates stunning patterns in the wood. All of the blocks are different, some have more black streaks than others but each is unique.

Mag-Blok Quartered Oak
The classic oak rack is a perfect complement to a country kitchen and one we think looks great with lighter handled knives.
The lightest wood we stock, the maple rack does darken a little when you finish it with rack butter. It would be perfect in a modern white kitchen or as a contrasting piece in a darker kitchen.

The cherry rack darkens very well when finished with the included rack butter and offers a good alternative option to maple if you're looking for a rack at the lighter end of the colour spectrum.
