Fujiwara's Denka no Hoto Range

Incredible workmanship, materials and sharpness make this range one that performs at the highest level for years.

It is hard to avoid using too many superlatives when describing this range so we'll give you the facts first.

These knives might have a high price tag on the surface but when you look at the 65-66 HRC, the fact that they've all been individually hand made by master blacksmith Fujiwara and their Aogami Super Blue carbon steel edge providing a smooth and even cut beyond anything else we've tried.

They're heavier and feel sturdy in the hand and thanks to the Western style full-tang handle they feel like you could cut through almost anything!

If you're a collector of Japanese knives or simply want to experience one of the best knives available, then this is the range for you.

What you get

A gold or grain patterned card storage box with black inlay and on the front - a photo of Teruyasu Fujiwara, as he makes every single knife you get to see the man himself.

You'll also get our normal knife care guide card and a couple of plasters just in case you have any little accidents!

All our knives also come with free blue plasters just in case you're not ready for the sharpness! If you intend to use your knives regularly (and you should be) then we don't advise you to use the boxes for day to day storage, get a magnetic knife rack instead.
