A beautiful Japanese chef's knife and the smallest of the gyutos in this range. With amazing looks and performance, this is an essential addition to any kitchen and will become one of your most used knives.

This knife is unused but there is a small split in the handle. It doesn't move or look like it's going to get worse though and it could also be rehandled in the future.

The gyuto is the Japanese equivalent of a chef's knife and there's not a lot it cannot do. Longer than a santoku the extra blade length means cutting meat is easier as it can be done in one pass whilst this shorter version of the gyuto is also at home chopping veg and performing precise work using the pointed tip. You could get away with having this as your only knife!

With the fabulous swirling cloud like pattern on this blade and the delightful handle this is simply sex in a knife. Each blade is unique and hand made in Japan in small batches. Its VG10 steel core is very hard to make and as a result only the best metalsmiths are allowed to make this knife. Super sharp, sexy, beautiful and an amazing tool in the kitchen.

This knife steel has some special care instructions: Caring for carbon Steel.
