Nicely balanced just behind the bolster, the smaller of the gyuto knives in this range is an excellent choice for an all round chef knife that will do nearly all the jobs you need in a kitchen and with its robust Western style handle, blade pattern and finish it's a great looking knife too.
Why it's a second: The blade and handle are completely unused, the only reason this is a second is the tip of the blade was very slightly bent during shipping so you can easily fix this by gently bending it back or perhaps slightly reshaping it on a whetstone.
Apart from that, it's a great chance to grab a hefty discount on an otherwise completely new knife!
