Anryu Shirogami

A beautiful contrast between soft iron cladding and a high performance shirogami edge made with Anryu san's vast amount of experience and skill.

This range by the incredible 4th generation master blacksmith Katsushige Anryu is crafted in white #2 (shirogami) steel sandwiched between soft iron and with a half and half kurouchi/damascus finish with an HRC of around 61 and is therefore a reactive blade.

White #2 (shirogami) steel takes and holds an edge very well and the Shiro range is very well made and finished at an excellent price point.

What you get

A beautiful midnight blue box with Anryu San's signature in silver on the top, inside is a soft stepped velvety interior, the blade is wrapped in a single sheet of paper and is held safely with a block of foam.
