A truly stunning individual piece from knife artist Shoichi Hashimoto.
This White #1 steel honyaki gyuto is part of an extremely rare selection we were able to secure on a recent visit to Japan and the craft and skill that's gone into creating the unique hamon and incredibly subtle patterns across the blade.
This blade has been engraved on the tang with the date it was completed - 2024/09/06
As a special option, we have reserved 3 unique handles from UK craftsman @letshandlethis and we will fit it before dispatch if you wish. Please contact us after placing your order to confirm handle choice and fit.
