Holiday dates - No shipping

Please note we are away on a family holiday for the week 15-21st August and there will be no shipping that week.

You're welcome to order on the website any time and we'll ship orders on our return on 22nd August. We will endeavour to reply to emails and messages during this time but please allow for a little longer than normal delay.

UK Orders over £50

Every mainland UK order over £50 or that contains a knife gets FREE fully trackable next working day delivery via DPD Local.

We process and ship all orders on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

If you placed your order before 13:00 on any of those days we try our hardest to get them dispatched same day for you. If you're in mainland UK we send DPD Local. Typically they deliver next working day (except some parts of Scotland) but please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.

Orders placed on Tuesday and Thursday will be processed and shipped the following day and orders after 11:00am on Friday will ship the following Monday. The delivery service does not include Saturday delivery.

You will receive an email confirmation from us that we've received your order with your order reference number and items and when your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email (and an SMS if you entered a UK mobile number during checkout) from the courier with your tracking reference and an estimated delivery date along with the option to reschedule your delivery at your convenience if required.

Due to most orders containing a knife, you are not able to request a safe place/unattended delivery.

UK Orders under £50

Orders under £50 are charged a small postage fee and sent untracked with Royal Mail 1st Class as standard. If you wish to pay a higher rate for faster tracked delivery, you can select DPD Local as an option.

Please note that orders delivered with DPD Local do require ID as this is a default setting on our DPD shipping account.

Over 18 Policy and ID on delivery

Any UK order containing a knife is sent with DPD Local and you will be required to prove you are over 18 years of age to take delivery of it in line with our Over 18 Policy which we are required by the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 to implement.

No matter how old you are, you will be required to provide either a driving licence or passport number to the driver to enter into their scanner in order to release the parcel. Without this unfortunately we are unable to legally verify the order has been delivered to someone over 18.

No order containing a blade can be delivered to a PO box, left unattended or in a safe place.

Please refer to our Over 18 Policy for full detail before placing your order. Any orders returned to us due to lack of verification will be refunded minus the cost of shipping.

International orders

All international orders are sent DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) and using DHL Express and you will be shown a live and exact shipping cost for your delivery address and items during checkout.

Typically DHL Express delivery takes between 3-7 days depending on location but please note that we have no control over the speed of local customs processing and it can vary significantly from country to country so please be patient when chasing your order if its status shows as being assessed by customs.

Returns or incomplete deliveries

If you are returning the knife as part of our 30 day money back option simply because you're not happy with the item you've bought or it's just not quite right once you've got it in your hand, we ask that you cover the cost of postage and that you keep a proof of postage receipt as any returns are the responsibilty of the sender until they reach us.

If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or insufficient address, you are unable or unwilling to prove you are over 18 or you refuse delivery for any reason, we will either charge you to re-send the package or deduct the cost of shipping from any refund.

Packaging & Invoices

We send all orders out in unbranded packaging, either in card boxes or eco-friendly mailing bags depending on the items.

For those asking about packaging for gifts, our return address is on the courier shipping label but apart from that there's no other branding and all orders contain a packing slip with no pricing information on it. If you require a tax invoice for your order, please email us for a copy of one. 

As often as possible we use biodegradable bubble wrap (it's normally green in colour) and our mailing bags have an additional spare sticky tab so you can reuse it yourself if you wish and the bags themselves are compostable.

Our Stock

All of our stock is held and shipped directly by us in the UK and is on hand ready to post on the shipping schedule above.

We've already imported the stock to the UK so the price you see on the website is including UK VAT (which is removed during checkout for international orders) and any relevant postage costs are clearly displayed during checkout.
