First Impressions

Excellent sharpness right out of the box as you'd expect from Kurosaki and the SG2 core steel retains an edge very well so this knife will perform when you need it.

Beauty

Just look at it! It's stunning! Every blade is unique, the stainless cladding has a wonderful variety of hammer finished markings that resemble a collection of diamonds embedded along the cladding.

The Senko range is available with a range of handles including a traditional wa handle and assorted custom designs and materials.

In Hand

This is a classic Japanese knife with a half tang and lightweight octagonal wa handle so it's typically nimble and comfortable in use.

Durability

The stainless SG2 steel core clad in stainless is both sharp and durable and edge retention will be excellent.

Ease of Care & Maintenance Tips

The Senko is easy to look after, both core and cladding steel are stainless so our normal storage and care instructions apply but this is a knife that's going to perform and look great for many years.

Our Verdict

Kurosaki san has once again created something that marries performance, durability and a beautiful design that is recognisably his own and this is a knife you'll be reaching for time and again for many years.
