The handle tapers from the slightly wider heel to the narrower bolster.

MEDIUM: Primarily designed for 210mm gyuto size knives but is also compatable with shorter knives like santoku, bunka nakiri or similar 165-210mm size blades. Length is 133mm and weight 56g.
LARGE: Primarily designed for 240-300mm gyuto size knives and larger sized knives. Length is 138mm and weight 75g.
SLICER: Designed for slicers such as yanagiba and sujihiki as this is a longer, thinner and lighter handle than the large size. Length is 144mm and weight 62g.
