Made with a carbon steel core for exceptional sharpness and clad in softer iron for durability. Each Mizuno axe is hand made and finished in Mizuno's Sanjo City workshop by their skilled team using traditional forging processes.
Each axe features 3 grooves on the left and 4 on the right hand side of the axe head to symbolise the presence of Shinto gods in nature and ask for their protection when working with a sharp and potenitally dangerous tool.
