Perfect for a range of jobs but unlike thicker and softer steel cleavers, this is essentially a chuka bocho designed for primarily for veg prep with a harder, durable 62HRC carbon steel core.
Despite the cleaver name, we don't recommend hacking through bone with this knife and that you consider the use of it more like you would with a gyuto, santoku or nakiri.
Sentan is a H&K brand (the owners of Hatsukokoro) for their knives designed and made in China.
