A great value carbon steel cleaver from Seisuke Hamono.
Perfect for a range of jobs but unlike thicker and softer cleavers, this is one is more akin to a large and very tall general use knife as it's much thinner and harder so despite the name, we don't recommend hacking through bone with this knife and that you consider the use of it more like you would with a gyuto, santoku or nakiri.
Seisuke Hamono collaborate with a range of blacksmiths and workshops across Japan to produce their in-house ranges which helps keep their quality high and create great value knives.
