Heat treated to ~61HRC, the Ginsan tsuchime range offers a good overall level of edge retention and durability while being robust enough to take on a range of jobs.

Ginsan/Silver 3 is a stainless steel and the cladding on the knife is stainless so it's easy to care for and maintain if you follow our normal care guide and we'd recommend a Japanese knife care kit for long term care.
