When we visited Japan in November 2024, we were fortunate through one of our suppliers to be offered this stunning knife made by master blacksmith Yoshihide-san.

An extra tall gyuto made in Shirogami #1 with a stainless twisted damascus cladding that features raised ridgelines on the cladding before its slightly convext grind tapers to the smooth finish of the cutting edge.

Paired with a subtle ebony and white buffalo horn handle this is a magnificent knife and extremely limited in numbers and availabilty.
