If you're a fan of a tall gyuto then look no further. The exceptional edge and thin overall profile combine to create a knife that is very light in hand considering its size, a true high performance tool for every day use.

It's nimble in hand although we might point out that the heel and spine edges are quite square and might benefit from rounding off a little to improve comfort but in terms of pure performance and quality edge, this knife is excellent value and quality from Shiro Kamo.

This knife is available fitted with an octagonal teak and black buffalo handle or blade only and if you'd like to order a compatable handle from us we will fit it before dispatch.

Our aim is to measure and photograph our products as accurately as possible but due to many items being handmade, finished or using natural materials, there can be minor variance in measurements and things such as blade or wood finishes can vary. We will always endeavour to provide the most accurate measurements, photos and descriptions of our products.

Some measurements such as HRC are provided by manufacturers and should therefore be used as a guide.

Protection & care for this knife

Due to the height of this gyuto, we recommend the larger 270mm gyuto magnolia saya or a large gyuto (27x5.5cm) blade guard to protect it.
