The "tomaki" knife is a small single piece craft and utility knife from the Nagao Kanakoma factory - the the only makers of authentic Higonokami knives and is a san mai construction of a blue paper steel core clad in soft iron for maximum sharpness and durability and wrapped in a traditional bound handle for grip and comfort.
