About this range

First Impressions

Right out of the box, you can tell you're holding a truly special knife, sharpness is comparable to some of the best knives we sell.

Beauty

This is an absolutely spellbinding collection of knives. Hinoura san has worked his magic in using copper and brass to create the vivid rainbow pattern running the length of the cladding steel.

We chose to pair the knife with an ebony and white buffalo handle to create what we think is one of the best looking knives we've ever sold.

In Hand

The knives are exceptionally thick for their size, the petty flares out significantly as it nears the handle and so for their size we felt they benefitted from a medium sized wa handle instead of a more typical small one which balances out the knife nicely and feels excellent in the hand.

Durability

Hinoura san has crafted a knife that is intended to last many years and be passed down to family members if you care for it correctly.

Our Verdict

The rainbow damascus collection is a true collectors knife and a really top class piece of work that is worth absolutely every penny of its price tag.

Due to the scarcity of supply of these knives we would suggest you don't wait too long if you are interested in adding one to your collection whenever they're available!

Protection & care for this knife

This knife is exceptionally thick at the end of the spine so best recommendation would be a petty sized blade guard.
