Konosuke's handles are like their knives, understated works of art finished to an excellent standard.
Made for Konouske by craftsman Toshiaki Umemoto of Studio Khii they are a tall octagonal handle with no taper and typically longer than most Japanese wa handles which allows for the lightweight construction and balances out a blade superbly.
The edges and ends of the handles are smooth and the heel is finished with Konosuke's mark branded into them.
