Parker Asahi synthetic wa handle

Size

Something a little different from Parker Asahi who are best known for their exceptional quality synthetic cutting boards, these handles are made from the same material as their boards and offer some interesting alternatives over traditional wooden wa handles.

In our testing of the prototypes we found the added weight over a lighter wooden wa handle was useful for rebalancing a knife if you are more familiar with a heavier yo handle balance point closer to the heel or handle.

The second benefit, particularly in a busier commercial enviroment is the material being the same as their boards makes it easy to clean if it stains. Simply sand it down with a board scraper and it's good to go!
