We're fortunate to be able to stock these very limited VG10 damascus children's knives from Katayama-san.

Unlike other children's knives, these are sharpened to a much closer level and profile of an "adult" knife and the main difference between this and a traditional chef knife is the rounded tip and heel designed to provide a safer cutting experience for children as they learn to cook but this is a knife that can absolutely be used in any kitchen.

If you prefer the shape and indeed as a smaller knife with plenty of height works nicely in a similar role to a ko-santoku.

This knife is fitted with a D-shaped oval handle made from morado wood.

Do not allow your children to cook or use a knife unattended.
