Made in Echizen - Japan, The VG1 range from Masutani-san is a great value knife forged from VG1 steel with a stain resistant cladding and a striking hammer finish and Western style pakkawood handle. Masatani-san is known as an excellent sharpener and his knives have an excellent edge and finish for their price point.
