Nakayama Awasedo
Nakayama Awasedo is one of the most respected names in Japanese natural finishing whetstones, sourced from the historic Nakayama quarry in the mountains near Kyoto. These stones are traditionally used as high-grade finishing stones for sharpening kitchen knives, woodworking tools and straight razors.
Known for their extremely fine natural abrasive particles, Nakayama Awasedo stones allow users to achieve highly refined edges and subtle polish while maintaining excellent feedback and control during sharpening.
