Katsushige Anryu

Knife making is in Anryu-san's blood. A fourth generation knife maker and has been working as a blacksmith for well over 50 years and is one of the most respected and experienced blacksmiths around, Anryu san's skill is unquestionable and his eye for design and finishing is second to none.

Now retired from knife making (in 2021), the production of his ranges continues in the extremely skilled hands of his nephew Takumi Ikeda.
