SG (Super Gold / SG2) STRIX (STRong matrIX) is a new high performance powder steel from Takefu Steel released in late 2023 and is designed to provide a higher level of wear resistance and hardness than SG2 steel while retaining the ease of sharpening that makes SG2 such a popular stainless steel.
