Seki Souma - AUS-8

The Seki Souma AUS-8 range, manufactured in Seki, Japan, is engineered for high performance in professional and domestic kitchens. Utilising Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, these blades offer a hardness of ~58 HRC, balancing edge retention with superior toughness and resistance to chipping.

The series features a San Mai construction with a stain resistant core clad in softer stainless steel - ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. Designed with a Western-style full-tang handle made of pakka wood, the knives provide a balanced, ergonomic grip suitable for high-volume prep. This range serves as a functional, accessible entry point into precision Japanese cutlery.
